The Moncton Thunderbirds wish to congratulate Alexi Parent on his commitment to Hoosac School in Hoosick, New York for the 2021-2022 season and Dario Cantini who committed to Trinity-Pawling school also in the state of New York. 

Hoosac School founded in 1889, is a private co-ed boarding school for students in grades 9-12.  The Hoosac Owls compete against Division I prep schools in New England as part of NEPSAC (New England Preparatory School Athletic Council). 

Trinity-Pawling varsity hockey competes in the Founders League against schools such as Avon, Choate, Hotchkiss, Kent, Loomis, Taft, and Westminster. The Pride also competes against fellow Housatonic League members Deerfield and Salisbury. Other rivals include Albany Academy, Brunswick, Canterbury, Gunnery, and Millbrook.

This year, Alexi played for the Moncton U16 AAA Thunderbirds scoring 10 goals adding 7 assists in 16 games as well as being a valuable part of the team’s leadership group. 

Dario was solid in net for Moncton this season. The 6’01 goaltender certainly has a bright future ahead of him.
